MCC Adult Classes

Winter 2019

Beginning November 10, our Christian Education team will be offering two adult courses for the winter trimester. The classes meet for six or seven Sunday evenings, from 5:00 - 6:30pm, simultaneous to KiC@Nite and Junior High Youth Group.

Thrive: Grow in Grace Today (100 level): With Pastor Carl teaching this course, it is certain to be a mixture of wit and wisdom which will challenge hearts. Continuing to thrive in a life of faith and aiming to nurture our relationship with God requires us to develop the foundations of our Christian life. How does God use things like prayer, Bible reading, and fellowship to change us? Pastor Carl will challenge the class to change our approach to the disciplines of grace... and allow God to transform us. Register Using the Form Below.

Build Your Core II (300 level): The second of three classes that will be offered all year, this class will give an in-depth look into topics of systematic theology, or "core" doctrines.  Chad Dupuis will be leading the fall installment with guest teachers throughout the trimester.  Join this dynamic group as we seek to understand core doctrines of our Christian faith. Topics will include the Doctrine of the Son of God and the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, among other topics.  Attending the fall class is not a prerequisite to attend this class.  Register Using the Form Below.

MCC's Christian Education (CE) team is committed to offering three levels of education that serve all stages of adult development:

  • 100 Level - Exploring Christ:  These classes provide a solid foundation for new guests, new believers, new members, and those wanting to revisit the basics.
  • 200 Level - Growing in Christ:  These classes cover Biblical and practical topics for those both new and not so new to MCC, who are looking to continue their growth.
  • 300 Level - Centered on Christ: These classes drill down deeper into more specialized topics and/or doctrinal questions.
