Everyone wants to be happy. Woven even into our nation's founding documents is the "pursuit of happiness." Yet in a world ravaged by sin, sorrow, national unrest, and a global pandemic, we are asking the same question: "What would it look like to flourish?" In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus has much to say about this question - and offers life transforming answers.
Come learn what Jesus teaches about happiness and flourishing on March 6 at MCC's biennial Christian Education Conference. It's one more way to make 2021 better than 2020.
Our speaker for the weekend will be Dr. Jonathan Pennington, Professor of New Testament Interpretation from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. More information about Dr. Pennington can be found below.
