March 14 & 15, 2020

This Saturday event will begin at 2pm with upbeat worship and song.   We'll then hear from:

  • Rev. Torli Krua:   originally from Liberia, Torli was led to faith in Jesus by his Dad, Rev. Mahn C. Krua, Sr.  Torli came to Boston as a refugee and later brought his parents and siblings.  An African missionary to America, Torli serves refugees from 40 countries through Missions Door, Denver, Colorado.  The Kruas engage in church planting among refugees, equipping them to return to war-ravaged homelands as missionaries and national leaders. Torli is married to Saawile and have two small children.  He is co-director of Greater Boston Refugee Ministry at Emmanuel Gospel Center.
  • Rev. Bradley Bell:  as former missionary, Bradley planted churches in the Horn of Africa with the International Mission Board.  Bradley now serves as both Lead Pastor at Antioch Church and Director of Content at The Upstream Collective. He has authored The Sending Church Defined and Receiving Sent Ones During Reentry, and writes at brokenmissiology.com. He lives among the diverse community of south Louisville, Kentucky with his wife Katie and three daughters.

In addition to our adult sessions, a fun-filled, kids program will bring the field of international missions to your children aged kindergarten through 5th grade.  Childcare will also be available for infants through preschool.

Our Saturday event will culminate, for all ages, with an International Food Festival beginning at 5pm!   This 2020 Missions Encounter Weekend will then conclude during regular service times on Sunday morning (9 & 10:45am).
