Meet the Search Team

Chair- Jason Ragain - Jason, his wife Michelle, and their three daughters, Ashley (14), Beth (14), and Kate (13), started attending MCC in August 2020 after moving to the area from San Diego.  Jason is a chaplain in the U.S. Navy and is assigned with the First Coast Guard District in Boston.  Currently, he is serving as a Deacon, Community Group leader, and on the Connect Team at MCC.  Fifteen years ago, he was on the other side of an Associate Pastor search as a candidate, so he knows those questions that can make someone squirm…even better he knows how encouraging the process can be for the committee, candidate, and church as they all witness God at work.

Vice Chair- Peter Soulé - Peter and his wife Melissa have been attending MCC for over 20 years.  The two of them have raised 3 children, with the help of the MCC community, from infant to adult.  He is currently serving as an Elder but also spent many years working with the church youth group.  In addition he is a leader on the Connect Team.  Outside of MCC you will find him coaching on the lacrosse field, or working in his “woodworking shop” (OK what his wife calls the garage).  He also enjoys just sitting on the beach on LBI reading a book.

Josh Terry - Josh and his family have been attending MCC for 10 years.  He is married to Heather, a Norfolk school teacher, and has two sons: Gabe (14) and Caleb (12).  Josh has served in a variety of areas at the church but is currently working with the Youth Group.  You’ll also see him up front on a Sunday morning with the Worship Ensemble and Worship Band. Outside of his busy church life you may find him watching the Weather Channel chasing the latest natural disaster for work, or on the sidelines of the soccer pitch doing his best Ted Lasso impersonation.

Alicia Bailey - Alicia and her husband, Jack, have been attending MCC for the past five years after moving to the area in 2017. They have three children: Lucas (12), Katherine (10), and Emma (8). Alicia works part-time as a teacher and is active in the MCC body. She co-leads a women’s community group and is the current chair of the Adult Discipleship Committee. Being part of the Adult Discipleship Committee in 2022 is exciting and Alicia is enthusiastic about workshops the team has been able to provide this year. Along with her family, Alicia enjoys the outdoors and looks forward to hiking the Grand Canyon this year with the whole crew.

Lorraine Koudelka - Lorraine and her husband Frank have been attending MCC for 5 years. She has served as a Deacon, volunteered at Community table and co-led a short term marriage group with her husband Frank. She and Frank also organized a one night marriage event for MCC which focused on strengthening marriages.. She is currently participating in the Leadership Training Class. She provides day care for  2 of her 6 grandchildren 3 days a week. She enjoys hiking in the White Mountains with her family. She feels it is a blessing to serve on the search team and diligently pray for our next Associate Pastor.

Stephanie Schneider- Stephanie has been attending MCC for a year and a half with her husband Nate and children Joan (10) and Spencer (7). She serves at Community Table, on the Coffee Team, and the KiC AM check-in team. She is also currently part of the MCC Leadership Training Course. Outside of church, Stephanie leads a weekly Community Bible Study group. You can often find her in the church balcony, between services, breaking up the hide-and-seek or chase game her children initiate with their friends.
